Our Story
We're two sisters from a small town in Amman, Jordan, who always dreamed of creating a space where everyone felt welcome no matter who they were or where they came from. At 21 and 23, moved to Williston, North Dakota, chasing that dream with nothing but determination and a lot of heart.
The journey wasn’t easy. Learning a new language and adapting to a new culture came with plenty of challenges. There were days we felt out of place and struggled to find our footing. But we kept going working hard, learning, and growing because we believed in something bigger than ourselves.
That belief turned into The Fleur a café built on the idea of connection, comfort, and community. We wanted to create a place where people could slow down, have a good conversation, and feel at home, no matter where they came from.
The name The Fleur means “flower” in French, and for us, it represents growth and resilience something beautiful that can bloom even in unfamiliar soil.
